Violations of Language in Learning Process at Toraja Christian University of Indonesia

Lecturers and students as academics are required to be polite not only in behaving, but also language. But reality, often we find lecturers who do show such courtesy, especially the language or called violations of courtesy. This research aims reveal courtesy committed by academic community Toraja Christian University Indonesia (UKI Toraja), specifically learning process. Through this research, it is expected that various forms can expressed. Research on violation a type qualitative descriptive research. was conducted at UKI Indonesian Language education Satra study program. The data use used process, both orally writing. Data collected with documentation, record, record techniques. further analyzed using sociopragmatic approaches, which approaches express meaning externally. results showed process were expressed through wisdom maxims, generosity, reward match simplicity maxims.
